Whether you live along the lake or on a farm, wildland fires could be a risk to you and your property. To help protect yourself, follow these tips:

If there is a fire threatening you or your property, call 911 immediately.
Keep your yard and property clear of dead and/or dry materials that could help fire spread. This can include trimming away dead branches, cleaning out your eavestroughs, and keeping your lawn watered. See the links below for more details.
