Thank-you for your interest in joining the Fort Qu'Appelle Fire Department!

Serving your community as a volunteer firefighter is highly rewarding. It comes with the opportunity to help people on the worst day of their life, get involved in the community and to be held to a higher standard as a person. This position also comes with sacrifice. We are often called upon in the middle of the night, during holidays and rarely when it's convenient. In addition to responding to calls, members are expected to attend training a minimum of twice monthly. Despite the fact that we are not career firefighters, we perform the same duties and must train and act to the same level of professionalism.
